Introduction

This is not a traditional guided tour service.

Hello! My name is Ryo. I was born and raised in Tokyo, and I accompany travelers in French (or English) in order to make their stay in Japan more natural, smoother and more enriching.

For many years, I have accompanied professionals visiting Japan for business trips, helping them organize transportation, choose restaurants for meetings, or make the most of their free time to discover different places. My role has always been to make their stay as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

Today, as a holder of the Japanese national travel qualification, I also accompany travelers who wish to discover Japan in a more fluid, natural and relaxed way.

Whether you would like support for a single day in Japan — or even several — I can help you build an itinerary adapted to your interests and your pace.

Depending on your needs, I can suggest places and restaurants, organize transportation and adjust the schedule in order to make the experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible.

I can also accompany you directly during certain visits, or simply assist with logistics and transportation arrangements.

The true pleasure of traveling in Japan often comes from the sense of disorientation and discovery: landscapes and buildings that can sometimes feel almost unreal, everyday behaviors and customs, and of course the experience of Japanese cuisine.

As the journey unfolds, many questions naturally arise. What are the unspoken rules to follow in temples and shrines? Why are there so few public trash bins in the streets? How is it possible that children take the train alone to go to school?

Of course, there is not always a single or perfectly accurate answer to these questions, but I am always happy to share my own perspective, shaped by personal experience and everyday life in Japan.

I hope to help visitors discover a side of Japan that feels more everyday, more alive and more authentic — a Japan that sometimes remains less visible through conventional tourism.

A Certain Way of Traveling

Personally, I have always enjoyed traveling. I have had the opportunity to visit several countries, especially France, but also Germany, Spain, Belgium, the Czech Republic, Morocco and Algeria.

Traveling alone or with friends often creates precious memories, including the unexpected moments and small difficulties along the way. But some of the most memorable experiences have usually been those shared with friends living locally. The day would naturally unfold in a much smoother and more spontaneous way, with the feeling of discovering the country from within — almost like a local resident.

A More Everyday Perspective on Japan

By spending time together, I believe I can share a certain Japanese perspective on everyday life. Of course, Japanese culture and history can be discovered through cities, temples, shrines and well-known places. But beyond the landscapes and the visits themselves, understanding the sensibilities, habits and values of the people who live here often leaves a deeper and more lasting impression of the journey.

I would like to help visitors from abroad experience, even just a little, the everyday atmosphere of Japan in a closer and more natural way.

Hakone & Regional Cultural Landscapes

Certain regions such as Hakone, Odawara or Atami are particularly well suited to this more flexible style of accompaniment, leaving more room for the rhythm of the journey, conversations and spontaneous discoveries.

Transportation & Flexibility

Depending on the destination and travel conditions, using a vehicle can sometimes make travel smoother and more flexible, especially in areas that are less accessible by public transportation.

When appropriate, I may use a car-sharing service in order to facilitate certain journeys. In some cases, using a vehicle for just a few hours can already make travel significantly easier while remaining relatively affordable.

In accordance with Japanese transportation regulations, no additional fee or commission is applied to transportation-related expenses.

Your Travel Plans

If you already have ideas or plans for your trip to Japan, please feel free to get in touch.

To better understand your expectations and respond in a more personalized way, you can simply share a few details about your stay.

Even if your plans are not yet completely defined, just a few indications are enough to start imagining together an accompaniment adapted to your rhythm and your way of traveling.

I usually reply within 24 to 48 hours.

If you do not see a reply, it is possible that my message was directed to your spam folder — or that your message may have ended up in mine.
